The 3rd annual Fresh Works Art Show has come to a close at the Harrington Gallery in Pleasanton. It was full of amazing and inspirational art, some of which were shown below:
Victoria by Linda Garbarino

Head #2 by Danielle Fafchamps
Celebration by Hsu Yao-pi
Autumn Play by Anna Instenes
Grateful Gathering by Floy Zittin
Scission by Denise Miller
And of course, I had to add my own painting as well; it was an honor to be selected along with so many talented artists.

This is one of my finished artwork for this year’s Alameda County Fair. Now off to my second painting.
Work in progress
This month, I am working towards showing at least one painting at the Alameda County Fair. The only glitch is that it has to tie in with this year’s theme, which is: Fair 101, Food, Family, Fun. So what I am showing is a small piece of a painting that I’m still working on. My vision is to have five carousel animals coming to life: a rabbit, a frog, a swan, a dog, and a horse. I have two more weeks so I best be getting a move on.
Here’s a new look with my previous painting “Song of the Sea” combined with Nathan Baird’s beautiful graphic work for our upcoming house concert in May. (Okay, I meant to post it last week but I accidentally scheduled of for May 30th instead of May 3rd.)
